In a bizarre crossover event that defies usual forecasts, the game developer has announced an in-game crossover between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the popular anime series Attack on Titan. The unusual Thanksgiving event operates from November 25 through December 22, offering free bonus story content for Shadows players.

Peculiar Adventure Disclosed

According to the authorized release, "A strange confrontation leads protagonists Naoe and Yasuke into a fresh quest, where whispers of banned practices and monstrous changes echo through the obscurity." The storyline presents a "unusually attired woman named Ada" who assigns the characters with journeying into the Crystal Cave—a important location from Attack on Titan—to liberate her friend from a clandestine sect.

The questline centers on "strange trials and a terrifying enemy" and is open to all players who have unlocked the Yasuke character.

Iconic Locations and Transformations

The trailer showcases the Subterranean Sanctuary from Attack on Titan recreated as the Crystal Cave. This historic location was earlier where the Reiss royal family passed down the Founding Titan ability through ages. The preview concludes with a dramatic scene showing a character, presumably the prisoner, morphing into a Titan that looms over Naoe and Yasuke.

Unique Rewards and Bonus Features

Players who accomplish the quest will obtain an unique katana alongside numerous items secreted throughout the area in hidden chests. The update also includes premium Attack on Titan item packs, including:

• Mikasa costume for Naoe

Newest Free Story Update

This update also brings the game's third complimentary story content, titled "The Mystery."
